PG&E wanted to launch a new test program called SmartRate: An electric pricing plan designed to offer customers a reduction in pricing when they reduce or shift the amount of energy used during critical peak periods. Yates Advertising was asked to help. A comprehensive program consisting of DM, Emails,
Banners, Videos, a Microsite and Workshops created high expectations but realistic goals. To everyone’s delight an unrealistic number of enrollments had goals met at the halfway point. Proving sometimes too much of a good thing isn’t such a bad thing.
